Why Volunteer?
Your support helps ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. It’s a chance to make a direct impact, meet new people, and be part of something meaningful.
Ways to Volunteer
Our community food pantry is in need of compassionate, dependable volunteers to help serve our neighbors in need. We operate every Saturday morning and also receive food deliveries once a month.
We welcome families, groups, organizations, and those needing community service hours to volunteer with us!
Every Saturday from 9 am to 11 am, we distribute food to pantry guests. Sign up for an upcoming date.

Weekly Pantry Volunteering
Every Sunday at 8:45 am – 11:00am
Help is needed with setting up, sorting and organizing food donations, assisting pantry guests, and cleaning up afterward. Whether you’re available every week or just once a month, your time makes a big difference.
Contact newseedpantry@gmail.com to schedule a volunteer day for a group of five or more participants. Groups of up to ten can be accommodated.
Monthly Food Sorting
Every Friday at 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Every Friday we sort through new food deliveries and existing items to make the Sunday distribution go smoothly.
Your help is needing taking boxes of grocery items down to our pantry, unpacking, and organizing. Volunteers should be able to lift 20 pounds and go up and down stairs. Free workout while you help us prepare to feed those in need!
Contact newseedpantry@gmail.com to help with sorting the donated food.
