About Our Worship

We are a gender-inclusive church, so you can expect that women will be active participants in our worship service, just as they are in our leadership.

The best way to get a sense of who we are, of course, is to simply come and worship God with us. We look forward to meeting and worshiping with you!

Sunday Morning Worship

10:30 am – 11:30 am

Step into a sacred space where tradition meets the timeless love of God. Our traditional worship service invites you to experience the beauty and reverence of Christian faith through classic hymns, weekly communion, scripture readings, corporate prayers, and thought-provoking sermons.

With a focus on honoring God and reflecting on His Word, this service offers a rich sense of history and connection to the generations before us. You’ll be uplifted by the familiar rhythms of worship that have touched hearts for centuries, while finding renewal and inspiration for your own journey of faith.

Whether you are a lifelong member or new to the church, we warmly welcome you to join us for a meaningful time of praise, reflection, and fellowship.

Adult Bible Study

Sundays at 9:30 am

Join us for an engaging and welcoming weekly Bible study class designed for adults of all ages and backgrounds.

Each session offers thoughtful discussion, practical life application, and deeper insight into Scripture. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have studied it for years, this class provides a supportive space to grow in faith, ask questions, and connect with others on their spiritual journey.

Come as you are and be part of a community seeking to learn, grow, and live out God’s Word together.

Nursery & Children’s Church

For children ages 0-3, we offer a class called Cradle Roll in the nursery space above the sanctuary. A large window allows little ones to follow along during service.

For children ages 4-10, we hold Children’s Bible Hour in a classroom on the main floor. Children begin service in the main sanctuary and move to their classroom after communion.

All God’s People

Uptown Church of Christ cherishes members and visitors from a variety of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Our worship services are correspondingly diverse.

Before and after service we like to meet visitors and fellowship together. We also share turns hosting monthly dinners in our homes so we may socialize and get to know one another more deeply.
